Adelphi, Md. (Sept. 26, 2022)—University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC), one of the most transfer-friendly universities in the nation, and Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC), an institution with six campuses and more than 23,000 students, have announced a partnership that will streamline access to UMGC’s bachelor’s degree programs.

Under the guaranteed transfer admission agreement, students can transfer a minimum of 60 credits when they complete their associates degree and be guaranteed admission to a ��������bachelor’s degree program in a complementary field of study.

“Our students have many opportunities for personal enrichment and professional growth at DMACC,” said DMACC President Rob Denson. “We’re excited to be UMGC’s newest college partner because the agreement allows DMACC students another pathway to advance their education and workplace goals.”

All degree-seeking Des Moines Area Community College students, graduates and employees of the college, as well as their spouses and dependents who attend the college, will see the ��������application fees waived. They will also receive a discount on out-of-state tuition for most academic programs of study.
