Fast track your bachelor’s degree at University at Maryland Global Campus. If you’re a student enrolled at Montgomery College, you can apply to ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúand get a head start on your bachelor’s degree thanks to the Degree Destination: MC to ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúprogram.

Degree Destination: MC to ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúis a dual admission agreement between ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúand MC that allows enrolled MC students to complete their associate degree while simultaneously enrolling at UMGC. Get a head start on a career-focused bachelor's degree by transferring the credits you've earned at the associate level.

Explore the Degree Destination: MC to ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúProgram

As part of the Degree Destination: MC to ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúprogram, ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúwill:

  • Accept students who have attended or graduated from MC with an associate degree if the students completed and submitted UMGC’s application for admission and have met UMGC’s admission criteria.
  • Provide dual admission program graduates junior class status (60–70 credits) with respect to registration
  • Accept a minimum of 60 credits earned at MC, including:
    • All general education coursework from MC, which will be applied toward the requirements of the bachelor's degree
    • Up to 45 credits in transfer through high school articulation agreements and MC's documented prior learning that were applied to the associate degree
  • Provide full-time students admitted to ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúwith junior status the opportunity to complete a bachelor's degree at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúwithin two academic years, provided the student completes the appropriate associate degree at MC and completes and appropriately sequences the remaining coursework at UMGC

Please note: Students who are eligible for admission to the ATB Nursing program will receive the ATB Special Discount rate for ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúcourses. The discounted rate will be equivalent to the rate offered through the Maryland Completion Scholarship.

They will also cover program benefits designed specifically for MC students, including the 60+ transfer credits you may earn from this program, $50 in savings with the app fee waiver, and reduced total tuition cost of about $12K.
